Dr. Rullo

Dr. Rullo

Dr. Michael Rullo completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery at London, Ontario’s Western University, Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry and then went on to complete his hospital-based pediatric dental residency in Ohio.

He is an accredited member of the Ontario Dental Association, Canadian Dental Association, Niagara Peninsula Dental Association and the Halton-Peel Dental Association.

The most important part of his job in pediatric dentistry is work with all of his patients and their families to reduce childhood anxiety surrounding dental procedures.

Outside of work, Dr. Rullo enjoys playing soccer, dog training and spending time with his wife and two young girls.

Dr. Andrew Adams

Dr. Adams completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery at London, Ontario’s Western University, Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2010. From there he practiced two years in general practice before focusing his career on receiving specialty training in dental anesthesia with an MSc. in barriers and access to deep sedation and general anaesthesia for dental patients in Ontario.  He is a Diplomat of the American Dental Board of Anesthesiology.

Appreciating the changes in technology, Dr. Adams makes it a priority to keep up-to-date on children’s dentistry, restorative dentistry techniques as well as anaesthesia and sedation.

Though he enjoys all aspects of children’s dentistry, he has a real passion for root canal therapy and associated research, to help save primary as well as permanent teeth.

He is a member of the Ontario Dental Association, Ontario Dental Society of Anesthesiology (past president), Canadian Academy of Dental Anesthesia (Webmaster and general member), American Dental Board of Anesthesiology and American Society of Dentist Anesthesiologists.

It is vital for Dr. Adams to ensure that both his patients and their parents understand the treatment as well as provide excellent informed consent. This includes explaining the diagnosis of the child’s teeth, options for repairing them, as well as the alternatives and the prognosis of these treatments. This especially holds true during anesthesia treatment, as he believes patient safety is always the number one priority, patient comfort is number two and then teeth are next.

Outside of work and family time, Dr. Adams enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters. He also enjoys being outside, being on or near the water as well as travelling around Ontario. Dr. Adams is a huge Formula One fan and is currently learning to play the guitar, which he admits has been a very humbling experience.

Our amazing team members

Taffy Beckford: Certified Level II Dental Assistant

Taffy graduated from the dental assistant program at CDI College in 2006. She believes that creating trust and providing timely, attentive service while building relationships is key to patient care.

When she is not in the office, Taffy enjoys going for hikes with her family, game nights and trying out new recipes in the kitchen.

Zoë, Certified Level II Dental Assistant

As a new Dental Assisting graduate from Niagara College, Zoë is thrilled to be able to express her newfound passion and put forth all of the skills and knowledge that she has learned in school. She is also furthering her knowledge in the dental field and will be studying to become a Dental Hygienist at Niagara College as well!

She believes that it is incredibly important to ensure patients are comfortable and feel a warm welcome each time they visit the dentist.

Outside of work she enjoys the outdoors, camping with my family and playing the guitar!

Debbie Kingston: Front Office Administrative Assistant

Debbie is a graduate of the Medical Front Office program at Niagara College and is most often one of the first smiling faces you see when you enter the office. It is very important for her that every patient and their family that walks into Coral Kids feels welcome and comfortable.

When she is not in the office, Debbie enjoys spending time with her family camping and relaxing on the beach. They are a big sports family so they will often be found at a baseball diamond, soccer pitch or hockey arena.

Deidre Atkins, Office Manager

Deidre has held different positions within the dental industry having graduated from Niagara College’s Medical Records Technician program, Dental Assisting from Career Canada College and finally receiving her Level II Preventative Dental Assisting Upgrade from Western University.

The most important thing to Deidre when it comes to patient care is to have all patients and their families trust her with their concerns and questions. It is her goal to make sure everyone feels comfortable and enjoys a five-star experience when in the Coral Kids office. She also believes in empowering anxious patients to achieve confidence in themselves so that they can grow, and in time, not be afraid of the dentist.

Outside of work, she enjoys going up North to her family cottage, travelling, hiking, working out, decorating cakes and cookies as well as watching basketball and hockey. Overall, she just loves spending time with her beautiful family and friends!

Children are delicate and require sensitivity, compassion and expertise.
